Adult Mentoring

Mentoring activities for adults can include: health and self-care job shadowing, networking, reverse mentoring, attending conferences together, role-playing scenarios, setting SMART goals, discussing relevant news and events, participating in book clubs, group mentoring sessions, and providing feedback and coaching based on shared experiences. Key aspects of adult mentoring activities:

  • Skill development:
    Helping mentees practice and apply new skills through activities like roleplaying or mock presentations. 
  • Goal setting:
    Assisting mentees in setting clear, measurable goals using the SMART framework. 
  • Career Development: Career development mentoring is a relationship between a mentor and a mentee that helps the mentee advance in their career. Mentors are experienced professionals who can provide guidance, share knowledge, and help mentees navigate career challenges. 
  • How can mentoring help with career development?

Specific mentoring activities:

  • Roleplaying: Practicing different scenarios to develop communication skills and conflict resolution strategies

  • Life Coach “meals and learns”: Informal sessions to discuss relevant topics and share knowledge

Girls Summer Camp

All-girls summer camps are more than just a fun-filled getaway. They’re strategically designed to bolster young women’s self-confidence and leadership through a sense of community with an array of activities. These camps provide a nurturing space that cultivates strong self-esteem, vetting, and self-worth in female campers.

Summer Camp activities include lessons on social skills, manners, and self-presentation.
